Amane takes on way too much, stresses herself out way too much. Before the freeze, she was lacking a lot of sleep.
She tends to worry too much and make herself an insomniac. I'm not sure there's much any of us can do when that happens other than force her into sleep. The Masters had to do that back in our world when people in the family started to disappear, and apparently it's happened once more since then.
I could see about making her a Somnia charm. It's basically a magical sleep aid. It won't put her to sleep, but it helps to ease the mind into it.
They're used pretty extensively by people suffering PTSD in my world, at least the ones that are comfortable with magic. And with the right charms, they can ward against nightmares too. It's not perfect, but...
