Character history-
UTAU were growing in popularity, alongside the ever-growing popularity of their distant cousins, the VOCALOIDs. This prompted people all over the world to even go so far as creating their own UTAU. Some of them were successful. Some of them, not so much.

This is the story of one of the success stories.

In China, there was a man who fell in love with the VOCALOIDS, and when UTAU surfaced, he fell for them as well. His interest and love for the singing robots inspired him to make a set of them for himself; he originally started with creating a girl, to be named Sayu, but he eventually realized about halfway through that Sayu may have gotten lonely, being the only of her kind. So, production was halted on Sayu and production began on one more robot: his name would be Sai.

Sayu and Sai were activated at around the same time, and from the moment they were 'born,' it was pretty obvious that the two of them were as different as could be. Sayu was the perkier, happier, more cheerful of the twins, while Sai was quiet, reserved. Sai's interactions with people were few, and Sai wasn't always the nicest of people, while Sayu was friendly and loved being around people. Sai felt that Sayu was the most important person to him, and so while he was, put simply, a jerk to most other people, he was kind to big sister Sayu, and became severely overprotective of her.

Their master's work was discovered, and he was scouted to join the growing family of UTAU creators. After going back and forth on the subject matter, it was decided that the idea of having the two robots interact with others of their kind was a good idea. And the extra money didn't hurt, either.

So they joined up with the major UTAU base, and Sayu and Sai met others like themselves, and even got to perform alongside them. Sayu, as expected, quickly made friends, her best friend being Sekka Yufu, who was a quiet girl with a soft voice. Sai eventually warmed up a little to Yufu, but while Sayu continued to make friends, Sai continued to make ... enemies, of sorts. He bullied around the younger UTAU, unsure of how else to react to them, and once he started with that, Fuuga Koto stepped up to defend the younger ones. The two had a back and forth game with this, which included lots of scoldings from Sayu's side.

Sai wouldn't ever admit to it, but he enjoyed this lifestyle. His bullying was never extreme, just enough to get his fill of it, and the back and forth arguments with Koto were fun.

But then, tragedy struck their family. It started when some of their cousins disappeared while on tour. Shortly after, Teto, their eldest sister, disappeared as well. Ritsu and Luna followed shortly after, and then, finally, Koto and Tori.

When those two disappeared, Sai became more edgy with how worried he was getting (again, not that he'd ever admit to it), and began bullying the younger robots less. While this was good news for them, Sayu and Yufu were worrying.

They'd worry more when Sai himself disappeared.

Character personality-
Put simply, Sai is a jerk with a heart of gold.

Outwardly, His interactions with other people aren't very good. He's mean, rude, edgy, but not the loud kind. He's actually rather quiet. And this is only what he shows on the outside.

What Sai doesn't show to a lot of people is that, yeah. He does care. All of those younger robots he bullies? He'd give his all to protect each one of them. Koto? Yep, he'd protect her in a heartbeat. Sayu and Yufu, he'd give his life for. But of course, good luck getting that out of him. He's not an outspoken person, but he has his way of showing he cares. Unfortunately, it's usually a very small way, and not a very obvious one.

So, yeah, Jerk with a heart of gold. He cares. Really. He just takes the long way to getting that across.

Digimon personality-
Ryudamon is about as quiet as his tamer is, but he's much nicer, and much more proper. He's literally a 'mon of few words, as he only speaks when it's necessary, and when he does, it's as if he's got something totally zen goin' on. Y'know, when sometimes buddhist dudes will be all philisophical and stuff? Yeah. Like that.

Though his tamer doesn't seem to think he needs a partner, Ryu is, if anything, patient. He understands that a relationship of any sort takes time to build, and he remains confident that he and Sai will grow closer.

Toward anyone else? He's polite, nice, and sometimes can be caught apologizing for Sai's temperment, though he knows he shouldn't.

Character abilities-
As a robot, he's more durable than a normal human, and had minor hacking ability. Other than that, he has a sexy singing voice (or, I think so. :D), good shota looks, and he's not that bad at dancing, either!

Sample RP-
Sai crossed his arms over his chest, eyes staring straight ahead of him as he walked through the city he currently found himself in. This wasn't funny. If this was a joke, it was a bad one. He was in unfamiliar territory, without his sister or any of the other UTAU (not that he minded that, but he was actually worried about how Sayu would fare without him), and he had a weird thing following him.

Yes. A thing. He didn't know what else to call him, and it wasn't like the thing had talked beyond introducing himself. Ryudamon. Or was it something else? Eh. It sounded like a name one of those weird anime geeks would give themselves at a convention. He'd never been much interested in that sort of thing, but he knew enough.

Sai looked behind him as he kept walking. The thing was still following him. He grunted, and looked ahead again.

"Go away," he said simply. Ryudamon didn't answer. Sai continued walking for some time before whirling around and glaring at the thing.

"Go. The hell. Away."

Ryudamon bowed his head and shook it.

"I'm afraid you're stuck with me," he answered.

Sai glared for a few moments more before turning and walking again.

"Fine, do what you want. Damn stalker."

Sample journal entry-
I found this cell phone looking thing near me when I woke up, so I'm going to use it. I don't know who I'm calling, but whoever it is, listen up, because I'm only going to say this once.

My name is Yurika Sai. I'm looking for my sister, Sayu. If anyone's seen her, or any of the UTAU, let me know.
